Louise & William 4th November 2011

Since this is a blog about weddings, I decided to start with the wedding I know most about. My own sister's!

My sister Louise and her husband William have been together for years, and they decided to get married while she was washing the dishes one day. Very romantic! But there is no doubting how much they love each other and their special day proved it!

Here is a token photo of me and Louise at the Hen Night! Was a great night!

The Venue

The venue for the day was The Vu in Bathgate which is a converted barn with a separate building called the Water Lily built onto a reservoir. Stunning venue with a great location, it's out the way and extremely high class. The Vu were very accommodating and showed us around everywhere they possibly could, which just added to the impressiveness of the whole package.

The Dress

The dress is the most important part of the day for some brides and it's important to find the right one for you. In this case, Louise knew as soon as she saw this dress on the hanger. Here is a nice picture of her dress!

And the make up...

The Ceremony

The ceremony was fantastic, it was conducted by a minister who was mental, making everyone laugh, it helped to relax everyone and made the ceremony enjoyable. I am not ashamed to admit I cried a wee bit! All the guests have since said that it was a lovely ceremony and the video is brilliant!

That's it from me just now, I will update the post with any more I can think of later on!!! But for now, we will wish the new Mr and Mrs Ferguson all the best and hope they have a happy life!!!
